In line with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University’s commitment to achieving sustainable development goals by increasing green spaces, encouraging work in the agricultural sector, and embodying the concept of a productive university, the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, inspected agricultural projects on the Kufa campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President reviewed the harvest season for hanging cucumbers in greenhouses and also monitored the covered agricultural fields (greenhouses) planted with strawberries, cherry tomatoes, and various vegetables, including leafy greens, peppers, cauliflower, and cabbage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President affirmed the university’s support for and adoption of all initiatives and proposals put forward by specialists in the agricultural sector. He also directed an increase in the number of greenhouses and the expansion of surrounding green spaces. The university president was accompanied on his inspection tour by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Wadai, the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Mohsen Al-Majtoumi, the Dean of the Kufa Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Atheer Kadhim Abadi, and the directors of the Reconstruction and Projects Department and the Diwan Affairs Department.
