Media and Government Communication Division \/ Al-Najaf Technical Institute<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the slogan \u201cNonviolence is the Weapon of the Strong,\u201d<\/strong> the Department of Computer Networks and Software Technologies at Al-Najaf Technical Institute \/ Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University concluded its series of awareness activities by organizing a workshop entitled \u201cRejecting Violence and Promoting Peace.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was delivered by Lecturer Falah Hassan Neama on Thursday, February 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his remarks on this concluding activity, the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop presented an intellectual roadmap for promoting peace through key dimensions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Educational Dimension:<\/strong> Highlighting the role of family and education in instilling values of tolerance, compassionate upbringing, and acceptance of others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Religious and Ethical Dimension:<\/strong> Emphasizing the values of mercy in Islam and rejecting intolerance and hatred in all their forms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Rights-Based and Developmental Dimension:<\/strong> Reviewing the concept of \u201cnonviolence\u201d as a force for change and the importance of \u201cpositive peace\u201d that achieves social justice and equality.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The workshop concluded by stressing the necessity of adopting dialogue as a strategic alternative to violence and called for empowering youth to actively participate in development strategies and sustainable peacebuilding, thereby fostering a safe educational and social environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
