Dr. Al-Askari emphasized that ensuring the quality of the educational process and developing institutional performance are the cornerstones of the work of Iraqi universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This came during a meeting he held with university presidents, where he directed them to consolidate and improve the quality system and update procedures related to academic achievement, examinations, and tests relevant to the rigor of academic performance and the embodiment of the scientific standing of Iraqi universities. He also stressed the importance of completing the requirements of the second semester in universities, colleges, departments, and branches according to the approved organizational procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Al-Askari listened to the proposals of the university presidents regarding the development of the scientific and administrative skills and capabilities of teaching and administrative staff, emphasizing that preserving their rights and entitlements and building their capacities is a fundamental pillar in the path of sustainable institutional development. The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research called on the university to confront challenges with initiative, responsibility, and openness to productive partnerships with the private sector. He also urged the university to meet the demands of the labor market, align educational outcomes with its needs and developmental changes, adopt a sustainability approach, expand the use of clean energy, and establish green economy indicators on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
