Government Media and Communication Division \u2013 Al-Najaf Technical Institute<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the slogan \u201cAdhering to the Two Weighty Things\u201d<\/em>, and coinciding with the anniversary of the blessed births of the Sha\u2019bani moons, the Knowledge and Religion Foundation held a grand Quranic and intellectual festival at Al-Najaf Technical Institute. The festival lasted for two days (Thursday and Sunday) and witnessed active participation from both the academic and student communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first day of the festival included specialized intellectual seminars. In the first lecture, the Quranic exegete Ms. Ola Aqeel Kazem explored the dimensions of \u201cThe Verse of Successorship\u201d<\/em> in Allah\u2019s words: \u201cAllah has promised those of you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth\u201d<\/em> (Surah An-Nur \/ 55). The lecture focused on the qualities of the believers granted succession and their responsibility in preserving religious identity, warning against Western schemes aimed at dismantling societies and undermining their high values. She emphasized that the solution lies in rallying around scholars and adhering to religious constants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the same context, Ms. Hanan Khalil Ibrahim, a teacher at the Hawza and instructor of Quranic and Hadith sciences, delivered the second lecture on \u201cThe Virtues of the Holy Quran and Its Importance in Daily Life.\u201d<\/em> She warned against neglecting the Holy Book, drawing lessons and guidance from Quranic stories (such as the stories of Moses and Al-Khidr, and Prophet Solomon, peace be upon them) as a practical approach for individual and social reform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In turn, the Institute\u2019s Dean, Prof. Dr. Haider Hasan Al-Abdali, praised the foundation\u2019s efforts and the contributing lecturers for organizing the noble Quranic festival and for their significant impact on the students, encouraging further future cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival concluded with a comprehensive cultural awareness camp, coinciding with the pure births of the infallible Imams (peace be upon them). It included several interactive stations highly appreciated by students, such as a book fair (browsing and acquiring), where a large collection of free books was displayed and distributed; a knowledge and religious quiz section; an educational station offering informative pamphlets with symbolic gifts for readers; a platform for answering jurisprudential, doctrinal, and religious inquiries; and a specialized station for students to properly recite Surah Al-Fatiha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cHospitality of the Awaited Savior\u201d<\/em> segment included serving coffee and sweets to commemorate the birth of Imam Al-Hujjah (may Allah hasten his reappearance).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the conclusion of the festival, participating students were honored with more than 300 varied gifts, in addition to approximately 200 books covering various fields of knowledge, amid widespread praise for the foundation\u2019s role in promoting Quranic awareness within the campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
