Students from the Electrical Technology Department began their summer practical training at the “Rabban Al-Safina” Company\/Najaf. This training is part of the college’s efforts to prepare them for the job market and provide them with the necessary practical skills.
The training includes vital departments within the company, where students were introduced to wiring and assembling low-voltage panels in the Electrical Engineering Department. The training program focuses on providing students with practical experience in cable stripping, taking accurate measurements, and wiring low-voltage panels for electrical transformers.
Students were assured of their immediate commencement of their work and were directed to maximize the company’s available capabilities to ensure they acquire the greatest possible practical skills that will effectively qualify them for the job market after graduation. The details of the training were discussed with Engineer Yasser Nour, Head of the Electrical Department and practical supervisor of the trainees at Rabban Al-Safina Company. He emphasized the importance of rotating trainees between different departments in the laboratory to ensure they gain a wide range of necessary experience.
Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, Dean of the Najaf Technical Institute, praised the efforts made by the practical and academic supervisors of the students in the Electrical Technology Department during their summer training at Rabban Al-Safina Company. Dr. Al-Abdali expressed his sincere thanks to the company for hosting the students and providing this valuable training opportunity.
Dr. Al-Abdali emphasized the great importance of summer and practical training in honing students’ skills and acquiring the necessary experience to qualify them to meet the demands of the labor market. He also noted that this experience serves as an excellent preparation for students before the start of the new academic year and increases their likelihood of obtaining job opportunities in the future.
This training is supervised by Professor M.M. Sadiq Abdullah Shaaban from the Najaf Technical Institute reflects the institute’s commitment to providing distinguished training opportunities for its students, bridging theory with practice. This contributes to building a generation of qualified engineers and technicians prepared to meet the changing demands of the job market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
