The Najaf Technical Institute, Department of Electrical Technology, organized a specialized scientific symposium entitled “Electric Cars.” Dr. Abdullah Sahib Abdul-Sada, a lecturer in the Electrical Department, delivered the lecture, which was attended by a group of students and faculty members at the Scientific Complex Hall.
The symposium aimed to highlight the latest developments in electric car technology and its role in improving the environment. It also discussed the components of these cars and their operating mechanisms. The symposium addressed several key topics, including the differences between conventional and electric cars, and the most important advantages electric cars offer in terms of efficiency and energy savings. Challenges facing this sector were also addressed, such as production costs, market prices, and the availability of the necessary infrastructure to support this technology. During the session, attendees discussed the concept of electric car meters and their role in improving operational efficiency. The importance of developing research in this field to promote the use of renewable energy and reduce harmful gas emissions was also highlighted. The lecturer provided an in-depth analysis of the role of electric vehicles in the future of sustainable transportation, focusing on the technical and economic challenges facing this sector.
The Dean of the Institute, Professor Haider Al-Abdali, emphasized the importance of the “Electric Vehicles” symposium, praising the efforts of the Electrical Engineering Department in highlighting this sustainable technology. He noted that the symposium contributed to raising awareness about the benefits and challenges of electric vehicles, emphasizing the need for continued research and development in this field.
At the conclusion of the symposium, the participants emphasized the importance of continuing to hold such scientific events to raise awareness about sustainable technology and its role in environmental and economic development. They emphasized the need to keep pace with developments in the field of electric vehicles and overcome the obstacles facing their spread, making them a sustainable option that contributes to building a better future for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
