Universities and institutes are educational institutions that bear a significant responsibility towards society. Their contributions extend to various fields, including education, research, and social work.
Among these charitable activities, reflecting the role of the university and institute in society, was the initiative of the Technical Institute in Najaf, under the supervision of the Dean of the Institute, Professor Haider Al-Abdali. This initiative included presenting gifts to students benefiting from the Al-Raja Institute for Mental Disabilities, which had a significant impact in achieving the goals of social work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit by the delegation of professors and students, which was planned as part of the support process, represents a major step towards strengthening relations between educational institutions and care centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Providing material and moral support is not merely a matter of distributing resources; it is an expression of the human and ethical values \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bthat societies embody. This act reflects the spirit of cooperation and participation and reinforces the values \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bof altruism and giving. It also motivates students and staff at the university and institute to reflect on how they can contribute to their communities, which is an essential part of university education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, the institute’s director, #Professor_Alaa_Alaqabi, and his staff were honored with the Shield of Excellence and Achievement for their efforts in serving this segment of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We should not forget the efforts of the Technical Institute’s media director, #Professor_Haider_Altamimi, for his effective contribution in coordinating and establishing relations with the institutes of the Department of Care for People with Special Needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
