The Department of Dental Technology at Najaf Technical Institute organized an additional scientific course entitled “Extreme Temperature and Ecosystem Determinants in Improving Sustainable Development and the Technological Incubator”. Dr. Faiz Arees Abdul Raouf from the Department of Dental Industry lectured in the hall of the Scientific Complex, which lasted for three days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course aimed to shed light on the impact of climate change, especially extreme temperature, on sustainable development, and the role of ecosystem determinants in improving the requirements of the technological incubator.
Course program and topics:
1) Day one: The impact of temperature variations on sustainable development.
The first day of the course addressed the impact of climate change, especially temperature fluctuations, on various aspects of sustainable development, such as agriculture, water resources, and public health. Discussions included a review of scientific evidence linking rising temperatures to the deterioration of ecosystems, and their impact on societies and economies.
2) Day two: The role of ecosystem determinants in improving the requirements of the technological incubator.
The second day’s lecture focused on the importance of understanding the determinants of the ecosystem, and how this knowledge can be used to improve the performance of technology incubators.
Then, practical examples were reviewed on how to integrate environmental considerations into the design and implementation of technology projects, with the aim of achieving sustainable development.
3) Day Three: Studying the components of the ecosystem.
The third day was devoted to a detailed study of the components of the ecosystem, including biodiversity, natural resources, and relationships between living organisms.
The focus was on the importance of maintaining environmental balance, and how technology incubators can contribute to protecting ecosystems and enhancing their sustainability.
In turn, the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Al-Abdali, expressed his admiration for the course, saying, “I commend this qualitative course organized by the Department of Dental Industry, which addressed a vital topic that affects our future. Highlighting the impact of climate change on sustainable development, and the role of technology incubators in confronting it, reflects the Institute’s awareness of the importance of contemporary issues.”
The course targeted members of the Institute’s technology incubator liaison primarily, as they are the link between the incubator unit and the departments, who in turn will hold scientific activities targeting sustainability, investment, and development in students. This course comes within the framework of the Najaf Technical Institute\u2019s keenness to keep pace with scientific and technological developments, and to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable development and environmental conservation<\/p>\n\n\n\n
