In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Distinguished faculty, respected staff, and most importantly, the title of my speech today, our distinguished students and our esteemed colleagues.
This is a great occasion for us, the National Day of Iraqi Women. It is with great pride and happiness that I, as Dean of this academic institution, Najaf Technical Institute, extend my sincere congratulations to every Iraqi woman, especially the exceptional women who form the heart of our academic community.
The National Day of Iraqi Women is a testament to the steadfast spirit, resilience, and remarkable achievements of Iraqi women. We celebrate their invaluable contributions to academia, culture, and society as a whole. Your dedication to knowledge, your relentless pursuit of excellence, and your unwavering commitment to progress form the cornerstones upon which our nation\u2019s future is built.
Today, we remember the many pioneering Iraqi women in history, whose ingenuity has illuminated our past and paved the way for the present. We also pay tribute to the current generation of remarkable women who continue to make great strides in every field imaginable, from science and technology to the arts and literature. You are the embodiment of strength, intelligence and grace.
The wisdom of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) still resonates today. He said, \u201cWomen are like glass bottles,\u201d emphasizing their importance and the need to protect them. He also said, \u201cParadise lies beneath the feet of mothers,\u201d highlighting the immense respect and honor due to women. Poets throughout history have sung the praises of women, recognizing them as \u201cschools of morality and knowledge,\u201d and sources of inspiration and wisdom. Their words capture the profound influence women have in shaping our character and guiding our path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, we reaffirm our commitment to justice and equality for all women in Iraq. We believe that true development and progress cannot be achieved without the full and equal participation of women in every aspect of society. We must ensure that women have equal opportunities, equal rights and equal access to education, employment and leadership positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us work together to create a society where every woman can realize her full potential and contribute her unique talents to the betterment of our nation. On this auspicious anniversary, I reiterate my deepest respect for the women of Iraq and hope that their strength, resilience and brilliance will continue to shine brightly, to inspire future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
