Al-Najaf Technical Institute, in cooperation with the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in Najaf, held a grand festival to commemorate the martyrs of Iraq who sacrificed their pure souls in the fierce battle against terrorism and ISIS. The festival, titled “Sovereignty and Martyrdom,” took place on Monday, December 9th, in the Scientific Complex Hall, coinciding with Iraqi Victory Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The festival included various segments, including a beautiful recitation of the Quran, the recitation of Al-Fatiha for the souls of the pure martyrs, and moving speeches by the Dean of Al-Najaf Technical Institute, Prof. Dr. Haider Al-Abdali, and Mr. Qassem Al-Khaqani, the representative of the PMF in Najaf. The festival also featured poems that were well received by the audience, reminding them of the martyrs’ sacrifices for the nation. A documentary film was shown, highlighting the heroism of the PMF members, who wrote the finest chapters of bravery and sacrifice in defense of Iraq and its sovereignty. Additionally, a photo exhibition was held, displaying images of Iraq’s martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his speech, Dean Prof. Dr. Al-Abdali praised the role of the heroic PMF in liberating Iraq from the scourge of terrorism and highlighted Najaf’s honored position in producing martyrs. Mr. Qassem Al-Khaqani, for his part, emphasized the continued role of the PMF in protecting Iraq, stressing that the PMF will remain the guarantor of Iraq’s security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the festival, attendees listened to a beautiful Quranic recitation dedicated to the souls of the martyrs, and the guests concluded the event with a tour of the martyr photo exhibition, remembering their immortal personalities and heroic deeds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
