In the first artificial intelligence exhibition held at Najaf Technical Institute on November 28, approximately 300 projects and innovations in artificial intelligence from universities, colleges and schools from five Iraqi governorates participated, as stated in a statement by Engineer Azhar Hussein Eidan, head of the scientific division at the Youth and Sports Directorate, which organized this exhibition in cooperation with the Scientific Care Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The projects participating in the exhibition amazed the audience, as students and participants presented innovative solutions to a wide range of challenges using advanced artificial intelligence technologies. Among the projects that caught attention:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Disease diagnosis system: A smart system capable of diagnosing diseases with high accuracy based on the analysis of medical images.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Elderly assistant robot: A robot designed to help the elderly perform daily tasks and provide health care.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Smart language translation application: An application that enables instant translation between different languages \u200b\u200bwith high accuracy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Smart Water Resources Management System: A system that aims to improve water resources management using remote sensing and data analysis technologies.
    Young Innovators’ Voices
    Many participants expressed their happiness to participate in this event, stressing the importance of such exhibitions in encouraging innovation and creativity among young people. They stressed that they found in this exhibition a platform to showcase their ideas and ambitions, and to communicate with experts in the field. The exhibition received great support from educational institutions and companies working in the field of technology, as these institutions provided logistical support to the participants, and also participated in evaluating the submitted projects.
    Najaf Technical Institute, under the direction of the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Al-Abdeli, was keen to provide opportunities for creative and talented young people to present their projects in artificial intelligence and robotics to the labor market and experienced people in order to realize their projects as successful innovations and cross-pollinate their ideas with academics and their peers who have worked in the same field of creativity. In a statement by the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Al-Abdeli, he said (Artificial intelligence is one of the first requirements of the labor market in the near future, and we are keen to provide our students with the required expertise and nourish their passion for this field). At the end of the exhibition, the first participants were named and all participants were honored with shields, gifts and certificates of participation. The participants of the Technical Institute won second place in the evaluation prepared by a specialized committee in artificial intelligence. Experts and officials stressed the importance of investing in the field of artificial intelligence and providing a stimulating environment for creativity and innovation. They pointed out that Iraq has qualified human cadres capable of achieving great achievements in this field.
