Division of Media and Government Communication \/ Najaf Technical Institute
Within the framework of the scientific activities organized by the Middle Euphrates Technical University, the formation of the Najaf Technical Institute, the Department of Forensic and Judicial Evidence Technologies held a scientific symposium entitled “The Role of Law in Empowering Women and Its Impact on Sustainable Development”, presented by the lecturer M. Ammar Murad Al-Issawi, on Monday, 11\/25\/2024, in the halls of the aforementioned department.
The symposium addressed several important axes, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Reviewing the legal legislation that contributes to empowering women and activating their role in society.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Discussing the relationship between gender equality and achieving the goals of sustainable development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Shedding light on the challenges facing women in exercising their legal and social rights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Proposing mechanisms to enhance the role of women through education, awareness and effective application of laws.
    The symposium aimed to clarify the role of law in empowering women, and to show how their active participation can be a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development in various fields. It also stressed the need for concerted institutional and societal efforts to enhance the status of women.
    The symposium was attended by faculty members and students of the department, and was distinguished by the interaction of the attendees through their interventions that enriched the discussion and contributed to the exchange of opinions and experiences.
    While the Dean of the Najaf Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdeli, stressed that empowering women is a shared societal responsibility, and that the law has a pivotal role in achieving justice and equality, which is positively reflected in sustainable development.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
