\ud83d\udccb About the Central Library<\/h2>\n\n

\nThe Library of Najaf Technical Institute was established in 1978. The Institute Deanship has given great attention to the library. In 2023, under the supervision of Dr. Haider Al-Abdali, the library was renovated, furnished, and equipped with computers and printers to improve the services provided to students, researchers, and staff.\n<\/p>\n\n\n

    • Cataloging and classifying books and providing guidance to students and staff, as well as purchasing new books.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

      \ud83d\udcda Central Library Activities<\/h2>\n\n
        \n\n
      • Borrowing books through a special library card issued for each staff member or student.<\/li>\n\n
      • Recording book title, author name, borrowing date, and return date in the library borrowing register.<\/li>\n\n
      • Monitoring borrowing deadlines and notifying borrowers about return dates.<\/li>\n\n
      • Renewing the borrowing period if the borrower still needs the book and it is available.<\/li>\n\n
      • Official notification through the institute administration if books are not returned on time.<\/li>\n\n
      • Following book exhibitions and new publications to enrich the library collection.<\/li>\n\n
      • Holding meetings with department heads and faculty members to identify required scientific resources.<\/li>\n\n
      • Issuing library cards for students and staff.<\/li>\n\n
      • Annual inventory of books and educational materials for departments.<\/li>\n\n
      • Evaluating books donated to the library.<\/li>\n\n
      • Participating in the annual student registration committee in the library hall.<\/li>\n\n
      • Preparing statistical reports required by the institute or university.<\/li>\n\n
      • Lending approximately 50 books daily to students and staff for research purposes.<\/li>\n\n
      • Receiving students daily in the reading hall from 8:00 AM until the end of official working hours.<\/li>\n\n
      • Continuous monitoring of book borrowers by the library director.<\/li>\n\n
      • Classifying books according to the Dewey Decimal System.<\/li>\n\n
      • Preparing book cards to facilitate tracking and organization.<\/li>\n\n
      • Organizing exhibitions for scientific departments during University Day.<\/li>\n\n
      • Holding an annual book exhibition for two weeks in cooperation with publishing houses.<\/li>\n\n
      • Hosting the annual cultural festival of the university in the library hall.<\/li>\n\n
      • Organizing a flower exhibition on University Day.<\/li>\n\n
      • Holding workshops to guide graduates about future projects.<\/li>\n\n
      • Hosting the new student registration committee annually for about one month.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n
