Whereas once the physician alone performed diagnostic and treatment tasks, medical equipment has become an essential partner for the physician in diagnosis, treatment, and patient monitoring. In this context, and given the pressing need to enhance the readiness of medical equipment when required, as well as the advancements in medical devices and equipment to improve patient health and speed recovery, the Department of Medical Equipment Maintenance Technology was established at the Technical Institute\/Najaf, as per Al-Furat Technical University&#8217;s letter No. 7\/47\/7837 dated September 25, 2018. This department aims to contribute to providing qualified technical personnel capable of performing the aforementioned tasks.
