The Department of Oil Refining Technologies was established in July 2024. It is considered one of the engineering departments at the Technical Institute of Najaf. It was inaugurated at the beginning of the academic year (2024-2025) according to the ministerial order issued by the Directorate of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up No. (M T/6911 on 25/7/2024). The department is one of the rare scientific departments in the cities of the Middle Euphrates, graduating mid-level technical cadres holding a technical diploma in the field of oil refining. The department focuses on meeting the needs of the oil and industrial sectors, contributing effectively to improving the quality and production of oil and petrochemical industries in both the public and private sectors.
