It is one of the essential service departments in the institute, and it is a cornerstone for supporting the institute's infrastructure and ensuring the continuity of public services, including electricity, water supply, sewage systems, as well as organizing the work of the institute's machinery.
The department's goal is to provide the best services with smoothness and high quality, overcoming all challenges to achieve the highest level of work integration. This will be done by establishing specialized workshops, enhancing the technical staff's expertise, completing the required workforce to carry out the department's tasks, achieving self-sufficiency, and ensuring the continuous operation of machinery. The goal is also to maximize the benefit of these resources for all departments of the institute, not limited to one. Additionally, the department aims to introduce service machinery to fill any gaps and, in the agricultural sector, to plant most of the institute's areas, creating green spaces for students' comfort and providing necessary seedlings for each season to avoid future purchases.
The department's work includes the maintenance, services, and agriculture tasks outlined below:
1- General maintenance of the institute's infrastructure, including the electrical network and transformers, water supply, roads and entrances, gardens, and courtyards.
2- Monitoring the operation of vehicles, distributing them, determining their monthly fuel amounts, maintaining them, and directing available resources as per daily needs.
3- Providing daily services such as street cleaning, yard maintenance, and transporting waste to the landfill.
4- Maintaining gardens, planting, watering, pest control, and propagating seedlings through the nursery available at the institute.
5-Receiving the monthly fuel allocation for the generators in coordination with the Oil Products Directorate and distributing it to all institute generators.
6- Monitoring the sewage network and transporting water to the manholes over a distance of 800 meters.
7- Maintenance and installation of cooling units for the entire institute through the specialized workshop.

Like the other departments of the institute, work begins by submitting a request for the required task or for any leave, after which a report is prepared for the work and priced for projects, as well as a report for the vehicles through the inspection committee. Then, the work is executed by the maintenance committee.
The department has several maintenance and new installation projects, including the following:
Creation of gardens and rest areas for students.
Preparation of two 500 kV generators.
Maintenance of the institute's roads with curb painting (Kerbstone).
Rehabilitation and maintenance of sewage pumps.
Maintenance of computer labs, dental technology labs, forensic science labs, and optometry labs, as well as all workshops.
1- Rehabilitation of the Health Administration Department building.
2- Rehabilitation of the Dental Technology Department building.
3- Rehabilitation of all restrooms.
4- Rehabilitation of the library building.
5- Rehabilitation of the legal department wing.
6- Creation of a new student club.
7- Creation of two auditorium halls for the Forensic Science Department.
8- Creation of two classrooms for the Medical Equipment Department.
9- Creation of three auditorium halls and two regular classrooms for the Health Administration Department.
10- Creation of the Science Complex building.
11- Creation of a prayer room and restrooms for female students.
12- Creation of laboratories for the Dental Orthodontics Department.
13- Creation of an auditorium and graduation photo area.
14- Creation of new laboratories for optometry.
15- Paving of courtyards with Mukarnas and Kerbstone.
16- Creation of a five-a-side football field (under construction).
17- Creation of student entrance gates with electronic gates (under construction).
18- Creation of the Dean's Office annex (under construction).
19- Creation of the Forensic Science Department classrooms annex (under construction).
