About the Department
The Department of Dental Technology was established in the academic year 2023-2024. The department offers both morning and evening study programs. The first batch of students included 66 students in the morning program and 209 students in the evening program. The department aims to graduate specialized technical staff to work in hospitals, various health centers, and factories producing materials specific to dental technology.

The vision of the Dental Technology Department is to achieve a high standing by keeping pace with scientific advancements and meeting the needs of the technical medical field specializing in dental technology across all public and private health sectors. The department also aims to achieve global accreditation in dental technology education, creating a supportive environment for excellence and creativity by both students and their professors.

- Preparing qualified personnel: Training and graduating skilled and highly competent technical medical staff to serve the community.
- Providing laboratory skills: Equipping graduates with exceptional laboratory skills to enable them to manufacture complete and partial dentures, crowns, bridges, and devices such as orthodontic appliances with high professionalism.
- Accomplishing tasks: Executing dental prosthetics, orthodontics, and maxillofacial prosthetics in healthcare institutions to meet community needs.
- Keeping up with technical developments: Enabling students to acquire comprehensive knowledge of dental materials and their properties, as well as dental device technologies, and keeping pace with advancements in the field.
