Medical devices technology is one of the latest engineering sciences that emerged with the development of modern medicine. After doctors used to carry out the tasks of diagnosis and treatment alone, medical devices have become an essential companion to doctors in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring patients. In this context, and due to the urgent need to maintain the readiness of medical devices as well as the development of medical equipment and devices that serve patient health and speed up their recovery, the Department of Medical Devices Maintenance was established at the Technical Institute / Najaf, as per the letter from the University of Al-Furat Al-Techno numbered 7/47/7837 dated 25/9/2018. This department contributes to providing technical staff capable of performing the aforementioned tasks, and the first batch of students was accepted for the academic year 2018-2019.
