Aviation technologies are one of the leading engineering sciences, continuously evolving with the latest scientific research in the field of aviation. The fields of this science have expanded into multiple branches, some focused on engine development, others on the structure and how to improve it, and some related to aircraft fuel, etc. All these sciences contribute to one field: aviation technologies. Given the developments in the country and the opening up to the world with the establishment of numerous airports, as well as the need to supply the labor market with specialized technical staff in this rare field, the Department of Aviation Technology was established at the Technical Institute / Najaf as per the letter from the University of Al-Furat Technical No. 7/27/952 dated 27/10/2014.
