Organizes a Course on the Role of Women in Society Development
The Najaf Technical Institute at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University organized a course on the role of women in society development, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Samah Hamza Al-Fatlawi.
The workshop included a detailed explanation emphasizing the significant and effective role of women in societal development, equal to that of men. Women have participated throughout ancient and modern history in various fields, assuming numerous roles such as poets, queens, jurists, warriors, artists, healers, and more.
The primary role of women is seen in building and nurturing their families, as they bear the full responsibility of raising future generations. As wives, they manage household affairs and economics. The workshop stressed the importance of providing women with opportunities to perform their roles effectively, participate in decision-making processes, and contribute to cultural, social, political, and economic fields.
Many organizations, institutions, and countries have shown interest in this area by organizing conferences and seminars that highlight the importance of empowering women and granting them full rights to work in all fields.

Under the Patronage of the Dean of the Institute: The Forensic and Legal Techniques Department Conducts a Scientific Visit to the Forensic Medicine Department
Students from the Forensic and Legal Techniques Department at the Najaf Technical Institute conducted a scientific visit to the Forensic Medicine Department (a division of the Najaf Health Directorate).
The visit was supervised by faculty members Lecturer Noor Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, Assistant Lecturer Noor Al-Huda Mahmoud, and Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Hussein Ali.
During the visit, students were introduced to the department’s divisions and observed practical demonstrations, including evidence preservation procedures and toxicology testing, in addition to receiving a comprehensive explanation of the mechanism for handling and processing autopsy cases of victims.
The Humanitarian Team Initiative of the Najaf Technical Institute at the Cancer Center
Under the patronage of the Dean of the Najaf Technical Institute, the humanitarian team from the institute visited the Cancer Center in Najaf Al-Ashraf. The initiative included providing financial support and gifts to children with cancer to bring joy and happiness to their hearts. The visit also involved meeting inpatients at the center and reviewing their health conditions.
The Dean of the Institute, Dr. Haider Al-Abdali, stated that the institute adopts numerous voluntary initiatives, and this particular initiative aimed to provide psychological support, bring smiles to the faces of the patients, and listen to the challenges faced by the center.
Members of the institute’s humanitarian team, representing the volunteer group, included students from the Forensic and Legal Techniques Department, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Hassanein Jameel and Ms. Israa Raji Naji. They affirmed their readiness to continue such initiatives and to support all segments of society.

The Humanitarian Team of Najaf Technical Institute Initiates a Charity Campaign “Ruhamaa Bainahum”
The Humanitarian Team of Najaf Technical Institute, led by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, launched the “Ruhamaa Bainahum” charity campaign. The initiative aims to collect a large number of clothes for orphaned children and adults to bring joy and happiness to them as they approach the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
The Dean of the Institute explained that these clothes were donated by the staff and students of the institute during the blessed month of Ramadan, a month of mercy and forgiveness. This act of compassion among them reflects the spirit of solidarity. The collected clothes will be distributed to charitable organizations that support orphans and those in need.
This initiative is part of a series of campaigns undertaken by the Humanitarian Team of Najaf Technical Institute to reach and support as many people in need as possible through these humanitarian efforts.
Najaf Technical Institute Holds a Workshop in the Forensic Techniques Department on Community Healthcare for Disabled Children
Najaf Technical Institute, in the Forensic and Legal Techniques Department, organized a workshop on the classification of disabilities. The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Ali Al-Shawi, who discussed how to provide comprehensive specialized care for children with disabilities.
In a related context, the Dean of the Najaf Technical Institute, Dr. Haider Al-Abdali, emphasized the importance of integrating individuals with special needs into society.
At the conclusion, the speaker focused on the international classification of disabilities and educated the attendees about the challenges faced by children with disabilities.
