The Media and Public Relations Department is directly connected administratively and organizationally to the Dean of the Institute. The department focuses on the objectives, policies, and various activities of the Institute, highlighting its educational and academic identity, strengthening and supporting the relationship between the Dean’s office and its members as well as the external community, promoting positive concepts about the Institute, and showcasing its achievements to enhance its standing and build relationships with various entities.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Media Department:
Defining the role and mission of the Institute and providing the university with updates on activities.
Issuing an introductory folder about the goals and departments of the Institute.
Communicating with media outlets to disseminate the Institute’s message, covering events and occasions, and providing them with news and updates.
Supervising and following up on all media-related activities within the Institute, such as issuing cultural and scientific bulletins for faculty, staff, and students.
Monitoring what is published in various media related to the Institute and its activities, archiving and indexing them, and submitting them to the Dean and the university, and publishing them on the Institute’s website.
Accompanying delegations visiting the Institute and introducing them to the Institute’s objectives and activities.
Preparing and organizing events and occasions held by the Institute.
Capturing photos of all events and activities within the Institute, such as seminars, conferences, and student activities, and working to publicize them in the media.
Addressing complaints from the public related to the Institute’s work that are published in various media outlets, responding after obtaining the necessary official answers, and informing the university.
Coordinating with the university’s Public Relations and Media Department and other relevant entities on topics of interest to the Institute.
Actively participating in central university events (University Day, conferences, graduation ceremonies).
